Changing the Jobs Go Public brand: a sneak peek!

 

After 25 years, Jobs Go Public is making major upgrades to what we offer to clients and candidates. Part of that journey includes our look and feel, alongside major tech development planned for later this year. 

The new Jobs Go Public brand is what you’ll see this July, from our ‘flying the flag for the public sector’ logo and new look website, to what goes on our social media channels and our collaborations with industry experts and publications.

Why now?

From the start of January 2023 to the end of June, our candidate registrations have increased by 200%. But we want to do more!

Since establishing in 1999, we’ve focused on leading the way, from:

  • Providing the first UK jobs board dedicated to the public sector
  • Creating the first online job application form in the public sector
  • Building our regional jobs portals
  • Launching our candidate sourcing service and pay per click (PPC) service
  • Providing a recruitment analytics service
  • …and picking up PPMA awards along the way.

July 2023 marks the next step in our timeline.

 

To celebrate this, we’ve completely repackaged our offering into what we think is a creative, dynamic and engaging brand to attract the best candidates for our clients and bring good people together.

Brand values

Our values are at the centre of everything we do. When you hear Jobs Go Public think:

The look and feel of the Jobs Go Public brand

Jobs Go Public is investing more in our teams and our technology now than at any point in the last 10 years. So, we’re rolling out a fresh new look across all our channels, too.

We want our look and feel to connect with how we are as a team, which is:

  • Honest, friendly, trustworthy
  • Passionate about what we do
  • A genuine care about the impact of the public sector
  • Warm and approachable.

Website

Our website will house our candidate and client portals, so it’s got to look good. Every page you’ll see on the new look site has been built in-house and optimised for user experience with our target audiences in the public sector in mind.

 

The aim of this is to:

  • Help people find their first-choice job quickly and easily
  • Grow our talent pool
  • Present our services and how they’re helping some of the biggest providers of jobs in the public sector
  • Show off our own team and their decades of public sector expertise
  • Show why we’re the public sector recruitment specialist of choice.

Developments around our Applicant Tracking System are in the pipeline, so we’ll keep you updated.

A voice in the industry

We’re proud of our industry collaborations in 2023 along with the PPMA and author and ex BBC Journalist Blaire Palmer, and more collaborations with leading Fertility Career Coach Jade Dunn and Children and Young People Now coming this summer.

As a champion of the public sector, it is our mission to be a positive, action-led voice in the sector, and we’re excited about how the new Jobs Go Public brand will support us in amplifying our voice moving forward.

Changes to our channels

As part of the revamp, you can expect a few changes to our social channels. 

First, LinkedIn will stay as our client-focused channel and we will be providing regular updates on our brand, teams and technology for some time to come.

Next, Instagram is on its way! Our brand-new page will be launching later this year and will become a hub for promoting candidate content, jobs, insights and life at Jobs Go Public.

Alongside unifying our services under a single brand, Jobs Go Public, we’ll also be consolidating our old JGP page into one Jobs Go Public feed. @jgptweet will close on 14 July, so follow us at @jobsgopublic to stay connected.

Our Facebook will be tweaked with our new branding but will remain the same hub for our 31,000+ followers.
